I have an older one in my family which runs great. I kept the lightweight (in today's standards) bracelet as it felt age appropriate.
Had to have a small fix the bracelet which was a pain (I was told by a Rolex AD that Rolex does not deal with bracelets that age) but other than that it has been utterly reliable for 50 years or so I am told by family elders.
