I also like to use a mild hand soap and a soft (old) toothbrush. When I have stubborn scuffs (on stainless) I turn to a cape cod cloth and microfiber to "buff" out any swirls or scuffs on my case and braclet. I have a 79260p Tudor which has the dna of a 6...
If I may curiously ask

how did you get the idea that coca cola could be good to clean a watch?! Would pepsi cola have a similar effect???!!

It is kind of a myth- ref coca cola

but also not! It is the weak carbonic acid that reacts with the thin oxidised layer and makes it look shiny but there is also a lot of other additives, colourings and tons of sugar. Whatever you do, do not put a watch of any make in coca cola.
Wouldn't neither, Soap and toothbrush perfectly fine!

Cola's good for derusting tools or old machinery parts, but doesn't work for inox or gold. And it may attack rubberjoints (if left too long) and thus the watertightness of your watch. Best, HGL
