Yeah every Rolex has a little crown.....it's just very tricky to see it..!! Not sure if all Omegas have it but my Speedy has a little Greek Omega symbol in the centre of the glass. Yours, Andy.

Wow!

What great watch! And you did capture the crown. I never knew Rolex did that.

As far as I know every Rolex has it.....

I think I have found it on all mine so far...I'll have to check again now Andy.

Great Shot

Something new for me. Cheers

Bravo Andy!

If I remember correctly, only the Omega Speedmasters with hesalite glass have the greek omega letter "engraved" in the center of the glass, while the sapphire glass is free from identification signs: Rolex mark the crown inside the thickness of the glass ...

Great photos. I also never knew about the etched logo...

These were the dummy models from the release party....but as you have the black previous model then white is the obvious choice. Andy. ...

Yeah thats like an

an added bonus, to something you already had your mind set on. On white will be particularly beautiful.

Thanks Andy

For sharing this detail, which was previously unknown to me. As subtle as it is, it a magnificent little touch over the previous 116520

I think everybody will be checking their Rolex's now....

 By: Andy : September 5th, 2016-11:07
If I get time this week I'll check all mine....not sure when it started but certainly my Yacht Master and Sub have it bit need to check the GMT and the Datejust...!! Andy.

It is also on my GMT.....

 By: Andy : September 6th, 2016-10:43
I just cropped into an old pic of my GMT which is 12 years old and they were doing the Crown back then too.....so it was also on the previous Daytona I would suspect... Andy. ...

Thank you Andy

Hang in there....they force champagne down us when we have a Rolex evening too...!!! Have fun, Andy.

How was the party...?

 By: Andy : September 25th, 2016-07:52
Must be tough being a moderator being forced to go to parties and drink champagne Andy.

it was very nice.....

......my "proper" work is keeping me too busy at the moment so haven't had teh chance to write up my experience. Both watches are winners for Rolex....no question.

Look forward to your report....
