so here are a couple of pics.....also been trying to get a good pic of the etched Rolex Crown at the '6' position and it is surprisingly hard to photograph..!! Andy....

Yeah every Rolex has a little crown.....it's just very tricky to see it..!! Not sure if all Omegas have it but my Speedy has a little Greek Omega symbol in the centre of the glass. Yours, Andy.

What great watch! And you did capture the crown. I never knew Rolex did that.

If I remember correctly, only the Omega Speedmasters with hesalite glass have the greek omega letter "engraved" in the center of the glass, while the sapphire glass is free from identification signs: Rolex mark the crown inside the thickness of the glass ...

I just cropped into an old pic of my GMT which is 12 years old and they were doing the Crown back then too.....so it was also on the previous Daytona I would suspect... Andy. ...  

I knew I should have invested in a loop. Very anxious now to take a closer look at my 116520.

Must be tough being a moderator being forced to go to parties and drink champagne Andy.

......my "proper" work is keeping me too busy at the moment so haven't had teh chance to write up my experience. Both watches are winners for Rolex....no question.
