RD98 Caliber
Jul 18, 2017,08:54 AM
Dear fellow enthousiasts,
I am currently looking for information regarding the Roger Dubuis Caliber RD98, which is manual wound and as RD has in the past upgraded some old movements to meet the "Cotes de Geneve" I was wondering whether the RD98 was one of them ?
The only limited info I found on the web was the following:
"Calibre RD98,
Manual wound mechanical movement, 10 3/4 lines.
Small Second at 9"
The following picture is also available if that can help:

The movement , they say, has been presented in 1998 as an in-house caliber....I like the architecture of it and the separated bridges...It actually reminds me an older movement....I try to get more info then...
Thanks !

Thanks Cirotti, I look forward to your investigations, the small seconds at 9 could actually mean it is a 100% in-house caliber, but I still wonder...!
