about Piaget as a watch maker? Do they manufacture their own in-house movements? The Emperator has always has a special place in my heart but am worry how it will stack up against a VC Traditionelle. Thanks in advance for any input. james

It's also a brand to look for. The lack of an "entry level" model hurts Piaget in terms of popularity but they have some watches/movements to die for. I'm fascinated with their ultra thin movements and is very high on my short with list. Here is a 900p th...

The Cartier “in-house” movement is a Piaget movement. Since they are of the same group of companies and supply Cartier with movements in the past. A transfer of technology might have happened.
