Some Test Shots 01: same camera location

Dec 10, 2016,19:12 PM

Recently I received an email discussing focal length so I shot some examples using my manual focus Nikon lenses.

Set-up 01: the subject and camera at fixed locations while changing the lens... this is the most common series as shown in almost all gear catalogs.  The photos in this series were shot using aperture priority at f/5.6... the entire frame is resized.

20 mm f/2.8 - AI-S at f/5.6

28 mm f/3.5 - AI'ed Nikkor-H at f/5.6

35 mm f/1.4 - AI-S at f/5.6

50 mm f/1.2 - AI-S at f/5.6

85 mm f/1.4 - AI-S at f/5.6

105 mm f/2.5 - AI'ed Nikkor-P at f/5.6

For more test shots see part 02 and 03.

you have to get the subject focus correct... a little more easy with a tripod ; ).
