Hi All, During Basel, the Patek handcraft pieces are the ones that thrill me the most.
The skills applied by the artisans and the results achieved in terms of details and color vibrancy are simply amazing!
Although only certain motifs/designs appeal to me, I truly appreciate all the efforts that go into each dial.
For this year, personally I love the ones with the eagles !

I prefer your photo 4 and 10. They looks fabulous. Photo 1 and 9 are fine too, but I can't see eagle very well. So hard to judge. Thank you again gor your nice photos.

How does one acquire these pieces? They are not part of the permanent watch collection, are they?
They are very limited
Thus, it is better to contact your AD and ask him to show you pictures of the new collection. In the weeks following Baselworld, Patek Philippe will decide how the watches are displayed for each AD, depending on the demands from them. Best, Mark

The eagle is not wood marquetry. It is ...
enamel painting. Look careful and you can see the word "email" (French for enamel) close to the tail feathers. Most likely done by Anita Porchet and hence it is a very rare piece ! If you like it, go ask your AD to get your name on it. Good luck !

I appreciate the information. Anita Porchet certainly does some amazing enamel work, not just for Patek Philippe, but for other Swiss watch brands as well.

Enamel dial
Although the eagle in enamel looks quite nice, they are probably already sold to collectors who had a private viewing at Basel. My hope is to receive an enamel dial world time before they are discontinued
