... and in coincidence with the watch I have been wearing during this week, I wish to share a few shots of my old Omega.
It is a reference 2505-31 from circa 1948 (my birth year by the way so I'm as vintage as my watch! Lol!).
This watch has a caliber 265 inside which Is a descendant of the legendary 30T2 caliber.
The steel case is 38 mm diameter very big for those far year standards.
The big clean silver dial with silver handset and markers make for the classic charming look of this timepiece.
I'm delighted to view the case back with the original circular polish.
This model is commonly known in collecting circles as the "Jatucka" as it was popularized by well known Italian watch dealer Roberto Randazzo who usually wears his 2505-15 as his "lucky watch".
I love these big classic watches made by Omega more than sixty years ago!
Cheers! Abel
