It could be a nice "insert" into a wheel but it will cause too many accidents unfortunately. A little voice would be obliged to tell you all the time: please look at the road Sir ;-)

And one of the best dual time implementations out there. Never seen it with a rubber strap - works well. One of my usual travel companions abroad is the Master Control Home Time which I think has the same movement.
