Saturday pictures JLC Amvox 2 DBS, fresh from the JLC maintenance ...

Team,

Is a simple fact that I'm hooked on the JLC Amvox line, in special for the Amvox 2.

For the ones that are not familiar with this model, the Amvox 2 is a revolutionary chronograph that the activation, stop and reset of the chronograph is performed (magically) by pressing the crystal.

Pressing the crystal close to the "12", is starts and stops the chronograph.

A press on the crystal close to the "6", with the chronograph stopped, and it resets.

Magic, pure magic.

Add to that, the marvelous design by Magali Metrailer.

Enough said, just search here and there is a lot of posts detailing this watch.

Now, today's pictures, testing a new post processing software (ON1 Photo RAW 2017).

A more exaggerated post processing.

A plain wrist shot

A B&W (or should I say Cyan & White?)

I sent this watch to JLC Brazil when I was informed that the local master watchmaker was qualified to maintain the Amvox 2.

Great work Mr. G. and thanks to the Boutique for the amazing fast turnaround.

Thanks to seeing and have a wonderful weekend.

Cheers,

Nilo

I owned the very same own for quite a long time and sold it with regret to fund another purchase. Amazing dial and very light case. Beautiful pics by the way. Best Nicolas

The technical idea behind this watch is truly brilliant. And the possibility offered by the Amvox2 DBS... Transponder to open or close an Aston Martin is pure magic (ok, you must own an AM which is the most difficult part IMHO!)

You own a very innovative timepiece with this one. I have a preference for your second shot as it better shows the depth (different levels) of the dial. Best wishes Alkiro

Very nice

I have been seeing lots of "back from service" posts. Curious was this serviced due to issues or it was just time?

I sent this one because ...

I got it used (no service history) and, when compared with my set of Amvox 2, I feel that the crown was a little bit stiff. Now, after being pampered by the JLC master watchmaker, I know that it will be great for the years to come. Cheers, Nilo
