I was disappointed with VC's new Overseas dual time which opted for a 3rd GMT hand and lost the subdial at 6. Can you tell me more about your new JLC? BTW, congrats on your new toy! Alfred
I love it

Will give a decent write up later, but for now let me just say that this is a watch that gets even more striking the longer I wear it. The light gives it different tones and the overall package is just so striking. It’s a relatively simple watch with a ve...
Congrats

I loved it the split second I tried it on... such a great watch. I can understand why the hands are skeletonized but the only thing I would have preferred was lume filled hands. Still, it's really convincing! ...
Congratulations, great choice

From my perspective, this was the best of JLC's "Geneva Three" of 2017. The Geographic complication is distinctive of the brand and endlessly useful. Also, the blue accents and hands create a striking effect without excess. Best, Tim
thanks, but..

Or perhaps I am just an apologist! Anyway, it certainly helps to keep a view on the subdial.
Thanks!

Agreed, they are sector but with a little spice. As a fan of blue, this is a watch that now goes with most things that I wear!
Agreed

They can appear very dark in certain light, and then they POP
Such a handsome sector dial

the blued hands and blue accents are amazing! Congrats and enjoy the new toy Cheers Robin
Mine too!
By: iamcalledryan : November 21st, 2017-16:55
I wanted the date not to have a date, the chrono to have running seconds, and the geographic to be mine!
Thanks!!

It’s been almost permanently on my wrist I haven’t even been able to manually wind it because the reserve hasn’t reduced enough to relax the slipping spring!
Appreciate the comment

Thank you, it’s such a great range. I do believe I saw a chap on here who picked up all three!
Correct!

Yes I am @wristwatchhandbook and yes those black bars are for summer time. As I am in London observing winter time, the blocks apply to Southern Hemisphere cities, as they are currently observing summer time. The northern hemisphere blocks are not used du...
See, now this is a watch with a real use!!

I love the world time function, but the majority that I see don't take into account time changes. So 6 months of the year they are wrong!! It winds me up a lot actually, hahaha!! You have to applaud JLC for including this detail. I have never understood h...
Yes

You are correct, very hard to achieve in a WT - but it is definitely possible!
