Long time no posted this very interesting semi military watch. Indeed, the Service Hydrographique et Océanographique de la Marine is not considered as belonging to the French military Navy, but it was ordered to JLC and issued to the French Marine, specifically for this service.
A sober watch with a great history. Which I like a lot!

.. the so nicely patinated numbers. And Stupid Me has not pulled the trigger on one, that you had found some 4-5 years ago- that was not a smart move ! Have felt triple- sorry for letting it pass, many times ! - Damn hesitation !.. :-( At least I can enjo...
