It was waiting for me, the Reverso "Rio de Janeiro", Jaeger Lecoultre homage to the 85 years of the Christ The Redeemer.
Blue, the color of the sky and the sea
The wonderful engraving that captures the Christ and the beautiful Rio de Janeiro
About the watch, it continues JLC trend to make automatic Reversos.
Some may dislike this break of a tradition but I'm fine with this movement.
My sincere congratulations to the JLC Brazilian team for this great initiative.

Is blue and is original for the model. FYI: For unknown reasons, I never change the straps of any Reverso. Cheers, Nilo
I like the blue of the dial
very nice hue of blue. Not too keen on a gazillion different Boutique versions, that can kill a Reference if too many. Interesting detail is the 24h display with the 24 at the bottom? Because Brazil is on the bottom of the Earth? CC

I didn't understood the logic behind the 24 hours indicator. When I set the watch, I wind it a little bit and I was waiting for the hand on the sub dial to move, thinking that it was a running seconds. Then I notice that it was the 24 hours indicator! Che...

The ideal would've been to have it manual wound without the subdial. I am still waiting for a simple single faced blue to come on the market....
It was a fantastic piece...
but I ultimately parted with it due to the thickness. Looking forward to see if there will ever be an ultrathin with a single laquered blue face

But I owned and loved the Duoface Bleu. I still miss that blue laquered dial very much.

As others say, I don\'t need the subdial or the automatic or even the engraving; but the rest - v nice. That crown...is it me or is it larger and flatter than usual? Bit of a vintage vibe? Best E.

I like the Reverso but it a little bit small for me... but I solve this with a Squadra model. ...
The Squadra... That was a spectacular attempt to give a sporty look to the Reverso.
Some loved, others didn't, but for sure a discussion watch. The apanage of strong models. Best, Nicolas
