A couple of Reversos

Firstly, the first Reverso I acquired in 1996 - a Classique.

I know that these days this size of watch is considered very small for a man’s watch but I particularly wanted my first Reverso to be as near in size to the original 1930s model. I have quite a thin wrist and find it very comfortable to wear. In my opinion it is a fine dress watch and the very plain, two-tone silvered dial is always a pleasure to look at.

Next - my Reverso Duo

This is one of my favourite watches - it’s so versatile. I love the texture of both dials and the fact that, in effect, you get two watches.

These two watches will never leave my collection. They are earmarked for my grandchildren; the Duo for my grandson and the Classique for my granddaughter (I think it will be an elegant watch for a young lady although if the current trend continues she will probably prefer a Panerai!).

By the way, excuse the picture quality. I’ve been messing about with filters. It’s been a slow afternoon.

Regards Kev

These days it’s easy to forget how good a small, discrete and elegant watch can look and feel on the wrist. Regards Kev.

Thanks Nicolas [nt]
