I find the new model very tempting
I had the good fortune of meeting up with the Urwerk founders again earlier this evening and trying on the new UR-105 streamliner.
Mr Frei and Mr Baumgartner were delightful as always, being very generous with their time in explaining to me about their latest creation.
The major upgrade/differences of the streamliner to the 105 are the introduction of a metallic cap that serves as a half hunter case, the power reserve and seconds indicators being brought to the front, and the skeletonized satellite display.
Smaller than a 210, but it has a strong wrist presence. I prefer the titanium+steel version here.
Here's the streamliner next to my 103.8. While they share the same DNA, the new piece is beefier, more complex and it's an automatic like other recent 105s.
