Swiss GTG day 1
Our first visit after we all arrived was Romain Gauthier .
I most admit that i didnt know that much about the brand .
i have seen some watches at Basel etc but once i have seen the workshop and talked to the man himself ( such a passion and knowledge he has got ) i was real impressed about him and his brand .
After a tour around his workshop it was time to see the watches 
We ended the day with a great dinner where mr Romain Gauthier suprised us with a special Bottle of wine 
Now that i am back home i can only think of how i can add a RG to my collection in the near future

One of the top 5 independents. A fantastic mix of amazing finishing coupled with clever technology.
Before the visit this brand was not on my list, but both the visit and the man himself left me very impressed!
Mr & Mrs Gauthier both gave us a very warm welcome and even surprised us with dinner and a very fine bottle of wine. All in all a great afternoon and evening!
Our visit to the RG manufacture confirmed my feeling about this brand. I'm deeply in love with the Logical One. My Grail!

The dinner was indeed great and the warm welcom and companion from Mr and Ms Gauthier made it unforgettable for me

Feel blessed about it . When ever you have the chance to visit RG please take it with both hands . Its worth it
I've never met him or listened to his talk, but
he seems to be a very nice person with good sense of humor. Your photos told me so.
He is a nice and warm person .
Also very talented , he only wants the best for his watches . He has got a state of art workshop . Very impressive .
Now that is my kind of GTG.
I had the please to meet and spend some time with Romain a few months ago. I was great to talk watches and learn so much about his operations. His firm makes spectacular time pieces.
You had an amazing experience but
hope next time you could get more detailed pics of machining components, finishing plates and brides etc. instead of wine...

Independent brands is not all about great watches but also about great , warm , open minded , thankfull watchmakers .That personal relationship you get with thim is priceless imho . ...
