That is one very beautiful timepiece. The dial is just amazing and in a very nice maroon..... Also possible that it comes in the nicest box I've seen.

That maroon is really nice and didnt realise he does titanium...I am awaiting a PL Vingt 8 for June delivery and still vascilating over the PR or not...this coloiur is a beauty

The only thing that confuses me is if you produce between 32-50 watches per annum and every Vingt 8 is unique. Why would you need to do a limited edition of 10 watches?

I believe what makes each Vingt-8 unique are the various options to customize the dial. However, typically the metal is in a variation of gold or platinum. I am personally not aware of any made in Titanium which allows the opportunity for a limited run.

and i just hope he is not hopping on the quick buck route...simcovers, now 10 run production pieces...

We can all agree that when Kari makes a series it is always limited. After all here is an artisan who over the past 14 years has only produced about 350 watches. Kari has recently increased his number employees but the number of pieces produced has not ch... 

I seem to have a raw nerve which happens when you gave an opposing view to infatuation! In your answer you actually answered what I was saying!! Cheaper to order cases in batches of 10! An extension to that is produce 10 identical dials to save design tim...

With the many variations of straps the quick release strap design is a must have these days. I previously owned a Vingt-8 made in 2011 and I can confirm that Kari had this strap design on his watches going back to at least 2011.

Congratulations! There is something about Kari's work that evokes similar emotions to that of ornate cakes and luscious banquets. I call him an horological cake maker! That said, with this particular beauty, I am finding myself wanting to pop the cork on ...
