Much appreciated. Cheers

Interesting, but how does it work?

I assume this displays the sunrise/sunset times? So is there an annual calendar? And how does it take Latitude into consideration? Thanks, CC

Individual sunrise and sunset cams were manufactured for the specific geographic location (latitude/longitide) by Martin Braun.

You get a table with sunrise and sunset times for all days of the year and you set the date and rise and set times individually. Doesn\'t account for daylight savings of course, but a very fun complication.

Thank you for posting this unusual and very interesting timepiece. I don't know if another brand offers a complication with sunrise and sunset hours

You probably already noticed this little problem but your hour and minute hands are not well positioned. Nothing really worrying. You should ask to a good watchmaker to solve this little problem. Best wishes Alkiro

Thanks Alkiro.

What\'s wrong with the hands? Please do tell. Cheers

If you look at your second shot, your minute hand is at twelve but your hour hand is not exactly in from of the 1 hour index which should be the case.

Your minute hand has +15 mn than that it should be. That\'s not a big issue as I told you. Just give your MB to a good watchmaker and he will solve it quickly. You can do a simple test. Try to set your watch at noon on the dot and you\'ll see that\'s impo...

Goodness me, so it is!

Thanks Alkiro. Can\'t believe I had not noticed it before! Yep, will need to have it sorted

Don't worry it's not a big issue

If I noticed this little problem that\'s because I precisely worked on that these last days at school Best wishes Alkiro

Cool.

How it works

 By: socabaptist : February 24th, 2017-08:27
So how does this sunrise/sunset complication work? The watch has a set of cams which are created for a specific longitude and latitude. Each specific watch is set for a specific location eg. Stamford, Connecticut, which is just 35 miles outside of New Yor...

Thanks socabaptist.

According to "we’ve only seen three other wristwatches not made by Martin Braun that have this (sunrise/sunset) complication: the AP Royal Oak 26603, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Grande Complication à Triptyque, and the Vacheron Tour de l’Ile.

Thanks Ronald.

I\'ve been thinking about this one for a while too, and then this particular one popped up (serial number 001 for this dial variant) and I was lucky enough to land it. Cheers

Definitely!

I\'m glad you understand! Took me a little longer to convince my lovely wife

That is another matter entirely! (nt)
