I love the concept.
It would be cool to see people get creative with these old instruments. Adding complications such as alarms at certain intervals, the ability to set time limits with gates, and of course experiment with materials and shapes.

This value comparison is great. About 2 JLC Atmos clocks for the price of this "hour" glass.

There are so many wonderful, intelligent, insightful and tasteful things published on there (Jack Forster), then this... It's not a bad idea, but 12k? 10 minutes? Marc Newson? I'm having trouble comprehending how I feel about this.
