That NATO looks like a natural match!

IMO, any strap change would be a lateral move! It may look "as" good, but you can't get better!

Here’s a today shot

What are your opinions on the ETA 2801-2 movement?

Perfect! [nt]

Solid watch...and no date! Perfect. Thanks for sharing.

Its the new Hamilton launched last January right? My suggestion is try a dark brown calf leather with dark brown stitching, or black calf leather with white stitching. Dont use alligator or crocodile , this watch is most suitable with calf, NATO, or maybe...

Something like this. Hirsch strap

Yes the new one. I ordered it the day of release online. And received it 2 days later.

I tend to agree with you since the watch is really thin, the strap shouldn’t be too large or present

This is a cool looking watch!

Even I, the dress watch guy, was seduced by its simplicity and I actually like the understated strap.

That's not very well thought of

which is a pity.

Webbing is fine

 By: MTF : February 23rd, 2018-04:11
Tyo, The dial is perfect for legibility. At first, I thougt the dark green webbing strap was a NATO style fitting so I understood your search for a "better" strap. The sand coloured strap matched the hands and indices but did not have the impact of the or...

Thank you for your input MTF

My only concern about the original webbing is the thickness it gives to the overall. the buckle is way too large and since this is a standard webbing it’s too big for my wrist but I agree with you the colors are good looking. I don’t know if my speech is ...

It's the Taste

 By: MTF : February 23rd, 2018-06:22
Tyo, I fully understand. You have to experience it with all your senses. Like the famous PG Tips tea advertising where the "actors" say: "It's the Taste!" It's the Taste! Regards, MTF ...

Lovely...

I think that strap looks great, is the original isn’t? Seeing your watch I remember that I have to order mine and yes, by the way with this Watch less is more. Absolutely more. Congrats Alex

Keeping with the less is more theme

IMO this piece would look great on a plain nato like this. ...

Decided to pull the trigger!

I’m really happy with the purchase

It reminds me of the watches we were issued in the military. At 38mm it wears really well on the wrist, and is really lightweight. I also like the strap, it really compliments this piece. I may change it later just to switch things up a bit.
