20 Years ago the headline read “LAUREATO is back”…

This ad is from 1996, referring to the birth of the Laureato reference 8010.

What really hits me with this ad is how fresh and modern the Laureato 8010 looks!

A lot have changed during the last 20 years…

Back in 1996 most of us were listening to Mariah Carey or doing the “Macarena”…

Top movies of the year were Independence Day (the original) and Scream (the first one).

Now, 20 years later, Girard-Perregaux could re-use this ad, just update the photo…

If this was a movie the title would go something like this….

“2016: The Laureato is back!

And this time with an extra zero in the end!

The Laureato reference 80100 in your stores now!!”
