We have had a fantastic diner in Megève yesterday in the restaurant called "Le 1920" (two Michelin stars).

We already went there one year ago (link below) and, for the second time, we have not been disappointed. A true fantastic place and diner.

Below an anthology of the different dishes we had the chance to eat my wife and I.

Amuse bouche on the terrace

Frog, fricassee and tempura
Chanterelles and mushrooms sauce

Green Zébra tomato and creamy burratina
Pesto, focaccia and rocket salad

Spider crab with Kristal caviar
Artichokes, mimosa condiment and mousseline sauce
(two services)

Large cage-fished langoustine crispy and marinated
Small peas "à la française" and fresh green vegetables
(Two services)

Seared line-fished turbot
Chanterelles tart, sour razor clams and Rothschild champagne sauce

Thinly sliced fillet of sea bass
Lettuce salad and mussels flavoured with parsley and garlic

Roasted veal sweetbread
Rat potatoes, caramelised onions and cherry sauce

Triple cream cheese
Fresh apricot and Melba toast

Freshness of white peach
Fresh almond, nougat and ice-tea sorbet

Yes definitely too young now but you won't wait for a long time. My son is 5 years old today and he began to "cook" when he was 3 years and half 😉

And I was thinking 'perhaps some toast?' I don't think it will cut it now. That looks amazing! I'm usually not too worried about presentation but I'm actually seriously impressed! The plates really were beautiful!

Yes it was really delicious. Regarding wine, we don't drink a lot my wife and I. I only took a wine cocktail before our diner. Then, only sparkling water. I know, it's a little bit disappointing with such a diner 😕 Best wishes Alkiro

Sparkling water would be just right with what is very much a white wine menu.

I've sometimes drunk sparkling water,in place of white wine ,for these courses,especially sparkling from belgium like chaud fontaine or badoit from france. best henry

The best French sparkling water for me is the Chateldon (naturally carbonated)

It was a true great experience again. My wife and I really enjoy this place and restaurant. People there are really nice too which is particularly important in such restaurants (absolutely not stiff)
