Hello, all! I have been absent from our forum for a while, but always peering in, and I finally had a spare day (in London!) to catch my breath. Free from any obligations, I took a walk to Selfridges to stop in the Chopard Boutique there. It's one I had never visited. Thanks very much to Sales Associate Christopher Beer, who was a fantastic host.
I decided to make it a steel-themed visit, given the supply of steel L.U.C watches present. First, I saw the Time Traveler One, Reference 168574-3001. In all candor, it was incredibly tough to take this off my wrist. What a fantastic watch. The 42mm case is a perfect size for this watch, and the dial is a contemporary take on what can look like a very old school layout on many world timers. The orange luminous material on the hour and minute hands, the orange seconds hand and markers help make this one fresh. From the backside, the 4 Hz L.U.C 01.05-L will look familiar to those who already know the 1937.
Paired here with a lovely Chopard pen! (Sadly, rollerball rather than fountain pen, or I might have snatch it up!)
