I wen't throught the same process trisd to get alligator but they will not ship to Australia
They make nice leather straps with alligator patterns ... no problem to ship to Australia.
your heart is set for the alligator strap then that is the one to buy and enjoy Johnokoen.
Unless someone send one to you . or buy from A.D , or like amanico said buy the strap when on holiday overseas
have it fitted no problem .

Just ask help from one of us living in Europe.
It's easy to order the strap from CF and send it as a private letter to Australia. Best, Kari

I’ll PM you with some suggestions that might help. Good straps (especially custom ones) are difficult for us.
Great watch! Lots of countries comply CITES, so...
... it is difficult to import from foreign custom strap makers... But chances are those strap makers may have local shop in Australia.... Check them out! Ken PS: I move this thread to Chopard forum..... hope you don't mind...

I think it does... I don't know, I feel like leather doesn't have the same effect as alligator on the watch?
I'm trying to keep an open mind because it'll be much easier like you said, it's hard to convince myself though because of some of the alligator ones you can find out there!
