Breguet Classique 7337

Nov 13, 2017,16:21 PM

All,

I am weighing the purchase of a Breguet Classique 7337 (fitted with Caliber 502) against several pieces from Audemars Piguet (fitted with Calibers 2121 and 3120) and Patek Philippe (fitted with Calibers 324 and 240). I would very much welcome feedback on the relative quality, reliability and level of finishing of Breguet's movements against those of Audemars Piguet and Patek Philippe, particularly with reference to the cited Calibers to the extent possible.

Thank you in advance!

It's a hard comparison since the movements have varying levels or types of complication. In terms of finishing I don't think there are significant differences based on what I've seen for movements at this price point from these brands. Nice choice with th...

I would, and have actually, choose a micro rotor movement over a cantral rotor one. With a micro rotor the whole watch becomes very slimm. In your list a microrotor is missing from AP (and I wonder at the monent if has got an micro rotor movement at all)....

...I dont think the other criteria are much varied between the mentioned watches and calibres...the truly distinguishing is the aesthetic..and in that department, the Breguet 7337 is in a class of its own...too gorgeous and quiet unbeatable. regards Asad

... which is, of course, ridiculous. A purist would never frown upon a watch solely based on the manufacturer's mother company. Marcus

I think it's a stunning dial and love the homage to Breguet's pocket watch in early 1800s....

Looks basically the same. I've been circling around this one for a while and getting close to pulling the trigger. It's a classic, interesting look and wonderful guilloche.
