I agree on the welding of the lugs.
And the fixed lugs that i have seen before do not go thru the lugs all the way. So i am thinking the single fixed bar might just be a quick fix. Brian

Serial number closed to mine. Mine Milspec has a big crown. Thus I think mine has a replacement! Stephan

Connected with the USN, had such an abbreviation; AM. Even if i did not see the AM engraving in any other militar watch connected with the US Navy, it could have sense!
