Actual Blancpain Production Numbers
I am aware that Blancpain is a small volume manufacturer compared to larger companies like Rolex or Omega. My question is this. How many watches does Blancpain normally produce for their non limited edition watches ? My Air Command is 18 years old now, yet I can still find brand new examples for sale on the internet with a simple Google search.
To be more specific, does anybody know how many Air Command's were manufactured ? I do understand that there are newer different variants that utilize the F185 movement, but even those are not difficult to source if you want to purchase one.
Over the years, I have seen Blancpain watches for sale at Costco, which I thought was very odd. Recently, I even woefully discovered that Amazon is offering them for sale on their website. Yikes !!
So much for low volume exclusivity.
