International Harvester flatbed
ANOTHER International Harvester flatbed - two in one day? Unreal.
Pale blue pickup by Ford
Mustang was in the same yard, but behind the fence.
Up the road a piece was this Dodge which hasn't moved recently
As we turned around we saw this group of four different colors of bouganvilla
I think this is a Dodge but I am not sure. We are working our way up the hill from the weeds to the high-rent neighborhoods.
A wonderful extra-long sedan delivery with dualie wheels and fenders off a stepside pickup.
He must like red vehicles.
A red 4x4 Van caught my eye - I'm interested in more than just old cars, of course.
Notice the plates on the G550!
After we crested the hill we fell down economically into the liquor store district
Houses are a bit shabby and so are the trucks.
Some where, within 2-3 blocks radius lived the girl I went out with for my very first date. I know it was to see the Righteous Brothers, and I know it was 1967, and I know she lived around here, but I'll be darned if I can remember her name ...
Ah well, forget the girl, here comes a cluster of old iron
Triumph, Cadillac, Mercedes, Mustang, Corvette all in one place and in disrepute
And next to a low income housing block I found this Porsche. Why not - good gas mileage, I guess.
This truck has suffered a "wardrobe malfunction" and its bed has fallen off. Perhaps during an off-road excursion?
Continuing back out from the apartments into the homes (this is near where I grew up) we saw a 57 Ford 2-door sedan waiting to be loved.
And this similar vintage Ford pickup
Nothing that a little Bondo and sandpaper can't cure
Like the International Harvester flatbed duo, the odds of finding a huge, long Chevy sedan delivery truck are VERY SLIM. This is the 2-rear-wheel version vs the red dualie seen earlier.
Parking brake might not work ... anyone know what flag that is? The red one?
One more Chevy - about a 1954
