My little town's local cruse night...

Aug 14, 2017,15:25 PM

I asked my daughter to take some pictures of our monthly cruse night. I said she should take photos of whatever car's she found interesting. I should have realized she wouldn't take any good shots of my car. LOL  She's so used to seeing it, she only took one cropped close up of the front end (I think she likes the license plate) and one from the rear showing part of the engine.

She likes to crop things, so I apologize for not having images of whole cars!

And for some reason she didn't find the '72 Pantera interesting enough to shoot...one of my favorite cars!

Mine's the Ivory 356.

I've been bringing the 356 to these local cruse nights for 16 years and have had my fair share of People's Choice wins, the last time being last month for 2nd place with 3rd going to the Pantera that my daughter didn't photograph and first going to an old...

Thanks for all these details Emil

Regarding the golden Corvette, I had the chance to see another one (not the same model and not so nice as the one you took in picture) few weeks ago in Switzerland in the Vallรฉe de Joux. These old ones are very very nice for me. Best wishes Alkiro ...

It works like this (as I have been explained): Suppose you are standing in front of a traffic light and (another) hot rod is standing next to you and you want to challenge it for a traffic light race. You look at your neighbor while giving a swing at the ...

. . . but if I could take just one home, it would be the '71 Plymouth. '71 - '74 B-bodies are second only to '70 - '74 E-bodies in my estimation. A friend of mine has a '68 383 4-speed Roadrunner sitting on his property in northern California. Not out of ...

Aside from that... I'll take the Hawk, failing that, the Tiger

Thanks, I got the plate at a local auction, still wrapped in newspaper from 1965 when it was apparently forgotten...

...I thought the 1964-65 date made it appropriate. This was the first time the Hawk showed up. It turned out to be owned by a guy I last saw in 1973 in grade school. Small world...
