Pre-SIHH 2018: Audemars Piguet - new line of ladies' Millenary timepieces
Audemars Piguet debuts its new line of ladies' Millenary timepieces at Dubai Watch Week 2017.
These new Millenary timepieces come with a new "second-skin" type metal bracelets (white or pink gold) which have an exquisite vintage look. Each mesh link is 5mm apart for a supple design, hence the name "second-skin" bracelet.
Also, a new opal dial version is available as you can see in the below picture.
Besides the opal dial & "second-skin" bracelets, the ladies' Millenary comes in a frosted gold finishing version (see below picture) which was created in collaboration with Florentine jewelry designer Carolina Bucci.
AP also has expanded its collection of colored, textured, and pattern straps for this Millenary line.

How about a men's watch with an opal dial? What do you think? Could it work? How about a dark opal? Maybe that's the way. I wonder if I could ask Mr. Journe for a custom dial dark opal optimum?

Interesting. Opal dial is different.
Just not a fan of the frost case, still prefer the spectacular AP brush finishing.
