Of mice and men

stabilizer,

Thanks for showing an uncommon watch. Very elegant, indeed!

It is fascinating how watch trends change with time and location.
Nearly 20 years ago, yellow gold Royal Oak was popular because I was working in East Asia. Then, white gold became the stealthy fashion when it was deemed vulgar to flaunt expensive possessions, in the wake of a series of economic crises.
Steel became the "new" precious metal again just like in 1972 followed by forged carbon cases and ceramic bezels.
Recently, rose gold emerged and yellow gold is poised to return.
I'm getting my bell-bottoms ready.....

And happy about it. YG is my fav!

The first AP I ever saw was a YG Jumbo in the mid 1970โ€™s.
