AP and Formel 1

Audemars Piguet and racing is a perfect match. The design of the Royal Oak and especially the look of the Offshore models is very technical and fits well to the modern Formel 1 cars and the lifestyle around that sport.

My favourite "Formel 1 - AP watch" is without doubt the "Michael Schumacher". Unfortunately I was still not in the position to get one.

"Jarno Trulli" had only a short Formel 1 career but the watch was very elegant. Carbon is not my favourite material but the look was great.

"Rubens Barrichello II" is my dream watch. And that even more since I had the chance to meet Rubens and enjoy two days with him.
A great sportsman and an even better person.

Hopefully AP will return to that beautiful sport and create another highlight for our wrists.

Regards,
Hans

The Jarno Trulli is my favourite before the RB and the MS

Thanks for your nice shots. Best wishes Alkiro

I was long convinced I preferred the Jarno Trulli to the RB2.

Until I tried on an RB2 for the first time. I briefly owned them together, and eventually sold off the Jarno. I don't use words like "better" in comparing watches. The RB2 is not "better" than the JT. But it is all together a much different watch on the w...

I would have done the same. Not that the JT is a bad watch, at the contrary. But the RB is soo coooool!

The only competitor I know is the... JPM. Especially in titanium... Best, my friend. Nicolas

Yes, the Juan Pablo Montoya is too often overlooked.

Even as an RB2 owner, I give the design credit to the JPM. The RB2 is a phenomenal evolution, but the JPM is the barrier breaker for AP F1 themed watches.
