Tokyo's new "independent watch brand only" shop.

It is called "Stella Polare" and is in the center of Ginza.  I was surprised to find this place.  Enormous number of independent watchmakers watches are displayed.  Not consignment, but purchased directly from them as an agent for those well-known independent watch brands.

(for now, appointment only - I recommend to make appointment, if you visit Tokyo - the madam is fluent in English)

Now, please just take a look how nice this space is.......

I thought the pictures would speak much better than my words.  I really appreciate places like this and although it may sound like a bit high hurdle to be "appointment only", they are all welcoming heartful watch lovers bunch.  I strongly recommend to visit this place when you visit Tokyo and other boutiques in Ginza - this place is really close from anywhere.

Thank you, Saori-san, for welcoming us.

Best,
Ken

A really impressive collection of independents at one place - looks like a real treasure trove you unearthed there Makes me wish for a Tokyo trip all the more!

Simple in principle but there are no work committments that way at the moment and the little one may be too small for such a long flight. Maybe next year

Yes, I know this place...

Know... not because I went to Tokyo but because the owner of the boutique was inspired by the Ekso Gallery here in Paris. I should come to Tokyo! Thanks Ken. Fx
