‘W’ is a romantic suspense melodrama that depicts a love story of Kang Chul and the surgeon Oh Yeon Joo (Han Hyo Joo) crossing in different environments and dimensions. With its dynamic plot line, a series of twists and turns happens when Dr. Oh who lives in a real world is taken into a webtoon ‘W’ in where Kang Chul exists.
The character Kang Chul is a co-representative of JN Global, an owner of broadcaster ‘Channel W’, a founder of a start-up company with a market cap of 1.5 trillion won, and a young chaebol with assets worth 800 billion won. Routinely he stays in hotel penthouses, flies first class and drives supercars in the drama.
